The management changes and staff redeployment under way at Carreras Limited represents a promotion for Rhon Bennett who, on August 1, will assume the post of marketing deployment manager, and it will also see another Trinidadian taking up a new posting here.

Bennett, who has worked with Carreras for nine years, joining the staff in 2000 as trade marketing representative, will fill the position being vacated by Malisssa Sylvester.

Bennett's old job as trade marketing and distribution manager will be assumed by Raoul Glynn, who currently holds a similar title in another British American Tobacco-owned company, Carisma Marketing Services Limited.

Bennett, a St George's old boy educated in Kingston and Florida, was last promoted in November 2006.

He is also a member of Carreras' treasury committee.
