Scheduled JPS outage to affect NWC systems in St Andrew

The National Water Commission (NWC) is advising that a number of its facilities in St Andrew will be out of service today between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. due to a scheduled power outage by the JPS.

Facilities that will be affected include Hope Filter Plant, Constitution Hill Pump, Hope High Level Relift Station, Hope Relift Station and Content Gap Relift Station. Customers in the following areas may therefore experience disruptions in their water supply.

"The NWC regrets any inconvenience caused and will endeavour to resume service following restoration of the power supply," the water commission said.
