Jewel of India - A complete feast

Jewel of India - Contributed

ONCE YOU enter the contemporarily chic Jewel of India Restaurant inside the Market Place along Constant Spring Road, St Andrew, soft strains of Indian music can be heard in the background. The feasting starts long before you even read the menu. The attractive décor is perfectly conducive to fine dining and prepares the palate for the delights to come.

For nearly three years, this branch of Jewel of India has been serving Northern Indian food and Indo-Chinese cuisine to their diners. The Ocho Rios branch has been open for nearly a decade. This year for the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week, Jewel of India hopes to introduce more Jamaican diners to its interpretation of fine Indian dining within a relaxed environment.

This is a great opportunity to cater to those who might otherwise be deterred because of the challenging economic climate. All are welcome to come and enjoy the offerings whether inside the restaurant or outside in the open air of the Market Place Courtyard.

To complement your meals, Jewel of India offers an extensive array of beverages, as well as a good selection to appease the wine lovers and connoisseurs. The service staff is always happy to make wine-pairing recommendations upon request.
