Whitebones Seafood Restaurant - Rustic ambience, great seafood

The seating allows customers to soak the sun and the flavours of the food.

Whitebones has been open for nearly four years. The restaurant's tag line is, 'Lose Yourself In A Hidden Oasis'. It invites everyone to come and enjoy great food, great people and great service in a rustic garden setting.

Whitebone's clientele includes families, professionals, business people, tourists, celebrities and diplomats.

The cuisine covers everything seafood and much more. Offerings such as conch, mussels, king crab, lobster, salmon, a variety of fish and shrimp and more are cooked to the customer's preference.

There are also vegetarian entrées - 'all-u-can-eat' crab night and a just added surf and turf entrées with steak and chicken to complete the menu.

The dress code is casually elegant.

For the Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week, Whitebones hopes to gain more exposure, reveal its new menu, as well as its recently added air-conditioned room for meetings, etc.

"We are discovered by new customers daily, who say that we are really "a hidden oasis," said Jacqueline Wilson, manager/owner.

"We also allow our customers who have supported us over the years get their favourite entrée at a discount and perhaps try something on the menu that they have never had before, especially in these hard economic times," she added.
