After a stressful day at work, or if you just feel like treating yourself to a delicious meal, Pier One on the Waterfront in Montego Bay is an excellent place to unwind and relax.

With its rustic outdoor bar and dining area, it is not just a restaurant but an attraction, according to Sales and Marketing Manager Sandra Martin. With a marina nearby and a beautiful view of the sunset, there is never a dull moment at Pier One.

With a variety of delicious seafood, international and vegetarian dishes to choose from, there is no doubting why this location is among the top spots to dine in western Jamaica.

The Gleaner-sponsored Restaurant Week will give diners the opportunity to satisfy their taste buds with some of the most delicious meals at affordable rates.

One of the restaurants outstanding dishes is the smoked marlin on toast shaved thin with capers and onions for the appetiser and the ginger shrimp sautéed in a delicate orange sauce as a part of the main course. They also offer a flexible catering service and the facility can accommodate 250 persons with a private dining lounge for more intimate moments.

Every Sunday, the restaurant has a seafood special where customers come in, purchase fresh seafood items from an open market and have it prepared their way by the chef. This special event begins at 5 p.m. Pier One on the Waterfront is opened every day for lunch at 11:30 p.m. and dinner at 5:30 p.m. The restaurant is also Wi-Fi friendly so you can log on to your favourite websites while you dine.
