Letter of the Day - Police commissioner's frightening revelation
The Editor, Sir: I have often heard about corruption in the police force, but if the 'recruitment' of this young man, Courtney Grayson, into the Jamaica Constabulary Force's contingent as a fake cope in Montego Bay is anything near to what is said, then it is a very sad and frightening day for the entire country.

Parking lot at Heroes Park an eyesore
The Editor,Sir: Hopefully, there is a supervisor for our public parks and I would like to bring to his or her attention the state of the National Heroes Park in front of the Ministry of Finance.

JPS, OUR and tariff review
The Editor, Sir: Based on the number of complaints we were receiving at the National Consumers' League from consumers about the exorbitant bills they were receiving from the Jamaica Public Service, we wrote to the Office of Utility Regulations requesting that an investigation be done on the meter reading and billing system of the JPS.
