4-H expo gets large crowd
The Clarendon 4-H Clubs annual Parish Achievement Day and Expo at the Denbigh 4-H Training Centre on Wednesday turned out to be a hugely popular event. A number of schools participated, including Foundation Preparatory, Four Paths Primary and Junior High, Denbigh High, Buttons and Bows, Osborne Store Primary, and Mount Airy.

ATTORNEY-AT-LAW Margarette Macaulay wants a 1942 legislation prohibiting women, except for those employed in the essential services, from working at nights, to be repealed. She said the age-old law was discriminatory and also breached international convention.
