Safety tips
To maximise the festival experience and overall children's safety at Hope Gardens, parents are being provided with the following tips:
Ensure that all children are accompanied by a parent or responsible adult to enjoy the festival.
Parents, pay attention. To minimise 'lost parents', keep an eye on your children at all times.
Do not allow your child to wander off and ensure that you monitor your child's movements on the expansive grounds.
If your child is missing or has wandered off, please report immediately to the festival information desk located just outside the festival entrance.
Encourage children to obey all traffic and pedestrian rules. Always walk, never run across the street.
Speak to your child about invitations from, or leaving in a car with a stranger. If a stranger makes them uncomfortable, teach them to run and yell.
