Ambassador Don Mills signs a copy of his new book, 'Journeys and Missions - At Home And Away', at the Planning Institute of Jamaica, for Frances Bravo.

Ambassador Don Mills recently launched his new book, Journeys and Missions - At Home And Away, in the Don Mills Training Room at the Planning Institute of Jamaica. The book documents developments in Jamaica's history over the past 75 years - from colonialism to independence, and further on to active involvement on the international stage.

The perspective presented is, of course, that of Ambassador Mills who was personally involved in many aspects of this 'journey' as a senior government official and diplomat.

Round-table discussion

The function, chaired by Ambassador Gail Mathurin, involved an engaging round-table discussion between the author and Sir Alister McIntyre, which highlighted some of the key areas in the book, linking them to issues currently facing Jamaica and the international community.
