It should be non-stop excitement at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex today with the playing of the semi-finals of the Jamaica Football Federation's All-Island Flow Champions Cup KO.

In what should be two enticing match-ups, defending champions Waterhouse will play Tivoli in the feature at 5:30 p.m., while the high-riding Rivoli will go up against never-say-die Boys' Town at 3:00 p.m.

In the feature game, Waterhouse, who are virtually out of the running for the Digicel Premier League (DPL) title, will seek to claim at least one silverware this season when they put their title on the line against Tivoli, who will be eyeing revenge after losing in the final last season.

To add fire to fury, Tivoli were defeated by the Drewsland-based outfit in their last DPL encounter a week ago, thus giving the men from west Kingston added impetus.

Only chance

"It's potentially our only realistic chance of winning a silverware this season and we will be putting everything into it. We will be leaving no stones unturned," said Paul Young, coach of Waterhouse. "It's going to be a challenging and, hopefully, exciting encounter. Tivoli and Waterhouse normally put on a good show."

For Waterhouse, much will be expected of key strikers Kevin Lamey and Jermaine 'Tuffy' Anderson, who netted a hat-trick against Village United in the quarter-finals.

They will also be looking to enigmatic but influential left-sided defender, Irvino English, talented young midfielder Kenardo Forbes, and goalkeeper Richard McCallum, for inspiration.

Tivoli will welcome the return of busy striker Navion Boyd who, along with strike partner Roland Dean, Orane Simpson and Christopher Jackson, will lead their attack.

"We have won one already this season, and we are seeking another, the more the merrier," said Tivoli coach, Lenworth Hyde Sr. "It's going to be tough, especially given the fact that they beat us the last time we met, but we are up to the task."

In the curtain-raiser Rivoli, who swamped giant-killers Duhaney Park in their quarter-finals, will come up against a much more sturdy opposition in Boys' Town, who though still in with a chance at the DPL, would not mind the cup to show for their fairly good good season.

Good match-up

"We have played some tough games against Boys' Town. I think we match up against each other very well," said Rivoli's assistant coach Oneil Thomas, who will be in charge for the day, substituting for head coach Bradley Stewart, who is off the island.

"We have lost games to them, drawn games with them and, as such, I think we are on neutral ground, and it will all come down to what we do on the day," he added.

In-form striker Devon Hodges and Valentine Gardner will lead the way for the Spanish Town-based Rivoli.

Competitive game

Boys' Town will look to the prolific Peter Keyes who, like Hodges, has been scoring in both the DPL and the Champions Cup with regularity and, according to coach Andrew Price, he is expecting a good game.

"The two teams are at the top of their game right now and are playing well. So it should be a very com-petitive game," said Price.
