Former champions Tivoli Gardens 'A' will put their unbeaten record on the line when they play Waulgrovians 'A' in today's feature game of the Jamaica Netball Association (JNA) Berger Paints Super League competition at the Leila Robinson Courts at 7:10 p.m.

Also in action today are defending champions Jamalco, who will go in search of their fourth win of the season when they face sister team Windalco, while Arnett Gardens 'A' will do battle with newcomers Speg 'A'.

Jetsetters 'A' will oppose Tivoli Gardens 'B' and Police 'A' will challenge newcomers Hampshire 'A' at 4:30 p.m.

Oozing confidence

West Kingston-based Tivoli Gardens, who will be seeking their fourth win of the season, are oozing confidence after thrashing new-comers Hampshire 'A' 49-29 in their last outing.

This has made Tivoli coach Sylvester Campbell very confident.

"Once we play well, then we should definitely win this game because we are playing high quality netball at the moment," said Campbell.

He also added that Waulgrovians are a very good all-round team, with a number of present and former national players, but his players are ready.

"It is going to be tough game for us because in order for us to win this match we will have to play our 'A' game," he said.

Former national representatives Kasey Evering, Cleopatra Grant, Peta-Gaye Thomas and Tamara Hylton will lead Tivoli's charge.

Waulgrovians, meanwhile, suffered their first defeat of the season to Tivoli Gardens 'B' last Thursday. However, captain Simone Forbes expects her team to return to winning ways.

"We are definitely looking to rebound from that loss as we only had six of our players available for that game. We are going to, however, have our full squad for this game," said Forbes, who is also captain of the national team.

Tough game expected

Forbes added that she is expecting an exciting game from her opponents and the team that makes the fewest mistakes will win the match.

"They are one of the top teams in the league and, like us, they also have a number of good players on their team and I believe that it is going to be a tough game for both teams," Forbes said.

Forbes, along with national players Christina Solmon, Paula Thompson, Nichala Gibson and former nation player Oberon Pitterson, will lead the Patrick Brissett-coached Waulgrovians
