THE 2008 Jamaica Millennium Motoring Club had its 2008 driver awards presentation at the Caymans Golf Club on February 7.
Thomas Hall won the award for driver of the year 2008, edging out big names like Maurice Whittingham, Doug Gore, Jeffery Panton, Richard Rerrie and Gary Gregg.
Hall has been racing for two years now and this has been his biggest achievement so far. His car was written off in Rally Jamaica 2008, but despite all that, it was indeed a proud moment for the ace driver.
Other notable winners on the night were Maurice Whittingham 2008 Dexterity Champ, Richard Rerrie 2008 Sprint Series Champ, Tanee Green 2008 Lady Dexterity and Lady Clubman 2008 and Michelle Delfosse 2008 Female Driver of the Year.
