Constant Spring hammer Whitfield Town 7-0
Former Premier League contenders, Constant Spring, proved to have too much firepower for Whitfield Town as they slammed the Major League team 7-0 in the Western Union Jackie Bell KO competition on Tuesday.

Constant Spring's Claudious Blackburn was the major contributor in the onslaught as he netted a hat-trick, scoring in the 33rd, 69th and 83rd minutes. There were also goals for Horace Brown (39th), Andrew Davis (75th), Donovan Alvaranga (90th) and Robert Taylor (91st).

The margin of defeat was the most lopsided since the start of the competition three weeks ago. Constant Spring were relegated from the top flight in the 2004-05 season.

Rae Town spank UTECH

In another high-scoring affair, Rae Town spanked University of Technology (UTech) 4-1. The students hardly had time to gather their wits about them before Andrew McCarthy scored in the 10th minute and three minutes later.

Anthony Lamey put the game almost out of reach with his 15th-minute goal. Kayon Leslie pulled one back for UTech in the 20th minute, but Chico Harrison read them their final rites with an 86th-minute strike.

In another encounter, Short-wood saw off the challenge of Meadforest in extra time, courtesy of a 105th-minute goal by Ricardo Dacosta.

The game between Seaview Gardens and the Jamaica Defence Force was not played as the field, the home ground of Seaview, had not been prepared.
