Eight J'cans in 14-man WI squad
According to information reaching The Gleaner, eight Jamaicans have been selected in the West Indies squad which will face Pakistan in three One-Day Internationals and potentially two Test matches, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, next month.

Captain Chris Gayle, Xavier Marshall, Jerome Taylor, Darren Powell, Brendan Nash, Carlton Baugh Jr, Shawn Findlay and Nikita Miller are the Jamaicans in the 14-man squad, which will also include three Guyaneese, a Trinidadian, a Leeward Islander and a Barbadian.

The Guyanese are Ramnaresh Sarwan, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and former youth captain Leon Johnson, the Trinidadian Dave Mohammed, the Leeward Islands representative Leon Baker, while Kemar Roach is the lone Barbadian in the set-up.

The players are scheduled to meet for a training camp in the region shortly before leaving for Adu Dhabi.

The three One-Day Internationals will be held between November 10 and 14, while the dates for Tests are yet to be confirmed.
