The super-inclusive party of the season, Osmosis Evolution, promises to bring an ultra-modern party paradigm that will differentiate it from others of its kind.
In the summer, Osmosis celebrated its 10th anniversary in a classic, modern party style at its new venue, The Stables at Caymanas Estate, the same venue where the December 18 Evolution will be staged. Party organiser Phillip Palmer said this time, Osmosis will take it up a notch by adding a first world party vibe to their already fantastic party experience. He said this year, the super-inclusive side of the party is going to be bigger and better.
big food line-up
"We will have 15 food booths accompanied by two new restaurants that have come on board, The Cove Restaurant and Chester Fried Chicken," said Palmer. He told Social that The Cove Restaurant is a popular spot on the weekend and is known for its fried fish. He also revealed that for some time now, they (the organisers, Mad Circle Entertainment) have wanted to add one of the popular fried chicken food chains to the event, so Chester Fried Chicken will add variety to the already big food line-up.
"We are going all out so I am warning people to go on a diet from Wednesday, December 16, before the party on December 18 because there will be lots of food."
Osmosis is not just about great food but also first-class entertainment. Since its inception, Renaissance's Jazzy-T has created the perfect party vibe with his selections. Palmer said that though Jazzy-T currently resides in Florida, he will bring the same type of high energy vibe to the event. Mad Circle have also added a fresh talent, DJ Rush, who has been creating waves on Zip FM.
"DJ Rush and Jazzy-T will bring the A-class type of entertainment that is associated with Osmosis for our patrons enjoyment."
With Evolution comes change and this year, the minds at Main Events Group, the architects behind the famous Osmosis dance floors, have outdone themselves according to Palmer. He says last year they brought a raised dance floor, which patrons loved, based on the reviews they received. But this time, they are coming with a new dance floor with laser lights bringing a first world party vibe to the event.
The VIP area, dubbed Cabana City, is geared at the more mature and discerning patrons who don't really want to compete with the tertiary crowd for attention. Cabana City will have waitresses to serve patrons, a VIP parking area and a Diageo top shelf spirits line featuring premium beverages such as Johnny Walker, Zacapa Rum, Ciroc (vodka) and Don Julio Tequila. Also, the there will be a new bar hosted by two of the island's hottest night clubs, Montego Bay's Blue Beat and Kingston's Pure/Plush. And, one of Kingston's top decorators, Michelle Lee, will add her touch to the event.
