Entertaining, romantic and scorchingly sexy, summer couldn't have been hotter than the Hilton Kingston Jamaica hotel on Thursday, December 4, when the Argentine Embassy hosted its wine-tasting and tango show.

Argentina is now the fifth-largest wine producer in the world and only their best was on show. The wines distributed by CPJ, Betco and J. Wray and Nephew were the best of what Argentina had to offer. Among the offerings were Malena Blanco and Tinto, Trivento, Trapiche, Sweet Malbec, and more. Guests had a wide variety from which to choose.

But as the night wore on, it was obvious what everyone was waiting for the tango. And as the spirits settled, professional tango dancers Oscar Caballero and Roxana Garber took to the stage. Those who knew about the tango enjoyed the variety, but for those who didn't, it was an entertaining lesson as they demonstrated the folk, traditional and fantasy Argentine tango. The dancers told the story well, and the intense sensuality and fluidity of their movements had everyone spellbound. You could see people itching to take to the floor. It was clear the guests were enjoying themselves; but how could they not when it's the tango?
