The 'world immortal' Stone Love celebrates 37 years of dancehall dominance at its anniversary celebrity party at Mas Camp tomorrow.

Some of dancehall's finest performers, such as Bounty Killer, Mavado, Sizzla, Lady Saw, Spice, Ding Dong and I-Octane, are set to take the stage at the party celebrating with the Stone Love crew.

There will be musical juggling from 9 p.m. to midnight from a host of sound system stalwarts and newbies.

Title sponsor of the event, Magnum Tonic Wine, said it would be treating patrons as it celebrates its own anniversary.

"It's our 10th anniversary and we are rolling with the theme 10 Long 10 Strong," said Magnum Brand Manager Gary Dixon. "Every 10 minutes we will be giving away cash. All patrons have to do is answer some simple questions which will be Magnum- and Stone Love-based, and they will be in the money."

Perfect synergy

Dixon added that both brands had formed the perfect synergy in the dancehall culture.

"This partnership between Magnum and Stone Love represents the energy and culture of the dancehall, and we intend to keep it that way for a long time to come," said Dixon.

Stone Love said it is also offering specially discounted tickets.

Event coordinator Paul Lowe-Chin explained, "We have a special deal with The Gleaner Company whereby patrons who purchase the Friday and Saturday STAR can get tickets for $800, with the proof of purchase of THE STAR, while the patrons in VIP will have an advantageous position close to the stage and they will also have access to premium liquor."

The outlets for the special tickets are The Gleaner and Stone Love headquarters.
