Three dead in vehicular accident
Guyana (CMC):

Three persons, including a three-year-old child, were killed after two vehicles collided in Guyana's hinterland on Monday, according to a report on www.cananews.net.

The police said that bus driver Juliano D'Auguar and Lacie Henry, a woman who was sitting in the front seat of one of the vehicles died instantly while a three-year-old and another child were rushed to Boa Vista, in neighbouring Brazil for treatment. The child, who has not yet been identified, was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital. Nine other persons were listed as critical and have been transported by air to a hospital in Georgetown.
