Alpha and St Andrew record big wins
Action in the Bigga/JISA Prep School Football Competition continued on Wednesday afternoon with Alpha and St Andrew scoring identical 7-0 wins over Hopefield and SOS, respectively.

Elsewhere, Michael Roach scored a hat-trick, his second in two matches, for his team, Portmore Missionary, which got the better of Rose Gordon 5-0 at Wolmer's field.

Belair, in Zone 5, beat St Jago 5-0 while elsewhere in the zone Glenmuir beat Logan 4-0 and Bright Beginnings and Hydel enjoyed 2-0 wins against Harrison and Glowell, respectively.

In other matches, Quest defeated Emmanuel 3-0, Porters stopped Alvernia 4-1, St Cecelia outscored Kingsgate 3-1, and Meadowbrook tagged Creative Kids 3-0.

Wolmer's edged Mona 1-0, and so too did Ardenne against Trafalgar. Suthermere and Praise Tab ended 0-0.

Wednesday's round of matches ends the league format of the competition. The quarter finals of the competition get under way next week Monday.
