After wading through literally hundreds of emails, we have finally finished tallying the votes and the Flair Bachelor for 2009, is Trudane Hardware!

This year's bachelor race has been a sweet ride with readers actively voting for their favourite bachelors.

Flair asked Hardware one question: how has the competition changed his life?

"The mere fact of being nominated as one of Jamaica's most eligible bachelors has been a really great and cheerful experience. I have been getting several phone calls from as far as London and Wisconsin, individuals congratulating me as a contestant. The public relations surrounding the entire competition has been overwhelming, everywhere I go, individuals recognise me and are cheering, offering compliments and, of course, voting," said Hardware.
