There is no doubt that as Jamaicans, 'we likkle but we tallawah' and our women prove this every day as they make history. Follow the journey of Jamaican Kim-Marie Spence with eight other women from Cyprus, Ghana, India, Singapore, Brunei, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom, as they brave blizzards, and temperatures below -30ºC to ski over 900 kilometres across Antarctica to the South Pole.
The trip should take about 40 days with the women arriving at the South Pole around New Year's Eve 2010. Follow Spence as she trains for her historic journey and weighs in on Good Hair at: gleanerblogs.com.
