Richard Spence

Outstanding characteristics:

My personality, my ability to make those around me smile and keep them happy.

How many children do you want to have and why?

Somewhere between three and six children. I get a feeling of fulfilment from sharing my knowledge and experiences with those around me; I believe that would give me the ultimate feeling of fulfilment. To have children and be able to share and help enrich their lives' and watch them grow. One wouldn't be enough, so I would want at least "a pair and a spare".

What kind of relationship advice did you get from your parents that you value to this day?

It's not about who you love, it's who loves you.

Where do you see yourself in five years?

To be more involved in entertainment and travelling the world.

How important is religion in your relationship?

It is important. I believe each person should be grounded or anchored in a set of beliefs, because if you believe in nothing, then you stand for nothing. But I don't believe in entering into a relationship on the basis of a religion. I would rather it be on the basis of similar beliefs, morals, values and goals. We don't have to go to the same church or worship on the same day (these things may strengthen some relationships but, to me, that isn't what will maintain it). Also, we don't have to share the same religion, but we should share a similar mindset - I don't believe you can trust someone who believes in nothing.
