Outstanding characteristics:
My sense of humour, my ability to make and sustain friendships, being expressive, supportive, driven and passionate about anything I do, while being prudent. I also would say, my team building traits and leadership skill sets. I consider myself sensitive, I live to love, for what is life without that? Finally, I was blessed with a blend of my mother's eyes and my father's striking physical features, which I have been told is not a bad combination at all.
How many children do you want and why?
I want four children and a dog. Throughout my life I have always envisioned building and maintaining a family, and to me that is priceless. I value family, as heritage is paramount in building a healthy society and being able to pass along core values. That being said, the dog is for when the wife kicks me out of the house.
What kind of relationship advice did you get from your parents that you value to this day?
The advice that I got was what I saw 26 out of the 30 years of my parents' marriage. They led by example from that process. I will learn to love my partner unconditionally while loving myself. I witnessed nurturing, understanding and compromise, which now I know are very important.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I hope to continue to build on the solid foundation that I have built. This has been bolstered by my strong Caribbean and European professional experience as well as the the advice from inspiring successful mentors.
How important is religion in your relationship?
Spirituality is very important and it is true that the family that prays together stays together. This allows couples to grow closer and that will bring my partner and me to a state of humility, reflecting our humanity.
