FLAIR COUPLE - Love gives us a fairy tale

In the middle of their ordinary life, love gave Kamar Brown and Nordia Johns a fairy tale.

On August 15, they exchanged vows at the Webster Memorial United Church in St Andrew.

After months of planning, the bride's dreams were realised with the help of Alison Dexter from Weddings by Almade.

The bridemaids wore royal blue gowns with fuchsia bouquets and the groomsmen wore white suits, with fuchsia accents. The matron of honour wore the same shade while the bestman contrasted with a royal blue vest.

Patiently waited

The groom, dressed in a white tuxedo, waited patiently for his bride. He smiled broadly, as, escorted by her father, she appeared.

She wore a white satin, strapless gown with a fitted bodice trimmed with beading, embroidery and crystals. The DaVinci Bridal Collection gown featured a pick-up skirt and cathedral train.

The young couple exchanged their vows in front of approximately 100 guests. At sunset, they started their unity ceremony. The Reverend Forrester used the four elements - lemon, vinegar, cayenne pepper, and honey to represent the sour, bitter, hot and sweet times of marriage. He told the new couple that marriage involves individual sacrifice, so that two people can harmonise as one.

They embraced guests and took photos with friends and family on their way out of the church.

The reception followed at the Grand Caribbean Suite at the Knutsford Court Hotel in New Kingston.

The celebration continued into the night, ending with the couple dancing to Keyshia Cole's You Complete Me and Jennifer Hudson's God Sent Me An Angel before guests took to the dance floor.

They honeymooned at the Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton Resort and Spa.

These single female wedding guests scramble to see who will be next as they go for the bouquet toss.
