Weekend celebration

The Patel family made it a weekend of celebration to mark Jayanti Patel's 60th birthday and gather the clan together for a reunion. Longtime friend and Montego Bay-based businessman, Lachu Ramchandani, hosted the celebrations.

On Friday, September 4, the group gathered at Club India along Lady Musgrave Road in St Andrew for the opening party. The cocktail and dinner party saw Patel family godfather, Jeevan Patel, leading the way. He has resided in Jamaica since 1938 and will celebrate his 90th birthday soon. Some 40 overseas guests and family members arrived for the memorable occasion.

Among the notables at the party were businessman Gordon Tewani, Seragh and Effie Lakasingh, Ravi Rochlani, Loku, and his niece, Julie Ramchandani, and many more.
