IN EVERY small community in Jamaica, there is at least one comedian who claims to be the established 'lover man' or Casanova.

In the deep rural St Catherine community of Top Mountain, Howard 'Bunny' Harris is that man.

The 62-year-old, who many would believe should be heading to retirement, makes no apologies for his notorious love life and is making a call to one lucky woman somewhere across Jamaica who is in need of a father for their next child.

"Bunny, the girl them honey, a that dem call mi round here," he boasted, as he held the ropes that were tied around the necks of his three ram goats.

wants another child

Harris claimed that women were his source of happiness and that, though married, he is seeking a woman because he intends to father another child before he turns 65.

He already has five children, the eldest 31 and the youngest nine, by three mothers.

He bragged that two of his children were born the same year, one August and the other December.

"Mi a June man enuh, mi love girls. Mi shoulda gone 'bout 50 children by now, like how mi wild," he said.

"Mi want a next (baby) mother yuh nuh, 'cause by time mi reach 65 mi must have another baby walking up and down."

'mi fraid a di AIDS'

Harris is, however, seeking someone outside Top Mountain as he said most of the good women in the district are occupied.

"Yuh haffi walk out man," he stated. "Plus yuh haffi careful to, 'cause although mi love the girls them, mi fraid a di AIDS," he cautioned.

Harris boasts that he is from an industrious family of brilliant siblings. One of his brothers, he said, is a successful doctor who attended the University of London, while he has a sister who is a hard-working police officer.

"So the woman nuh haffi worry if her children a go smart, mi come from good breed," he reassured.
