In defence of Ragga
The Editor, Sir:

E. Handel Wallace needs to come out of the dark and into the light. This is a modern era and he is still living in the Dark Ages.

There is nothing wrong with Ragashanti's talk show. All the things on Ragga's show are things that are currently going on, not only in Jamaica, but all over the world. He needs to open his mind and really listen because he can learn a lot from that show.

More outrageous

In the USA, there are programmes on both radio and TV which are more outrageous than Ragga's show. They do not put things in code as is done on Ragga's show. I was listening to a radio show last week and the woman was telling Michael Baisden (the talk-show host) what she was using with her lady lover. She did not put anything in code and no one was calling in or writing about his show.

Leave Ragga's show alone! He is acting on the gift God has given him. He is using his talent and not hiding it under a bushel. He is happy to bring joy to people all around the world. If you do not like his show, don't listen to it.

I am, etc.,
