The US will prevail
THE EDITOR, Sir:

WHILE YOU speak respectfully in your editorial about law and order and the Christopher 'Dudus' Coke situation, you seem to forget that the United States is the major player in this issue. You have said nothing to give assurance to that treaty partner of ours that "you see all sides of the story".

The US will, in due course, put their plans into action whether to get 'Coke' or to deal with Jamaica's "intransigence". The Government's asking for more information after a grand jury has dealt with an issue seems a cop out because the grand jury's decision is sealed and no one knows what is in it.

Yet, if the issue was not one to the grand jury's satisfaction it would have been "bounced".

I am, etc.,
