Age: 18

Body stats: 32-25-38, weight - 115lb, height - 5' 9"

Danisha Scott is one of the faces appearing in the current Digicel print media ad campaign. In recent times, she has had the opportunity to fulfil her dream of becoming a model and has graced the runway for local designers at several fashion shows and promotional events.

On July 31, at the Grand Palladium Spa and Resort Hotel, she won the title of Miss Jamaica World Model Fast Track. Winning the competition secured her position as a top-10 finalist in this year's Miss Jamaica World pageant.

In five years she hopes to complete her bachelor's degree in tourism and management and work in the same field. Danisha says what she enjoys most about the competition is meeting new friends and, as an aspiring model, she would love to meet Tyra Banks.

Danisha describes herself as a strong, determined woman who is going to make a positive contribution to her country; a person who love's life and is going to live it to the fullest.

Name: Anya Mollison

Sponsor: Guardian Insurance Brokers

Age: 21

Body stats: 32-26-35, weight - 128lb, height - 5' 8"

In 2004, this well-spoken contestant placed fifth in the island for CXC English language. Anya is a graduate of the University of the West Indies (UWI), Mona, where she obtained a bachelor of science degree in social policy and development. To complement her formal education, she earned the UWI student award for outstanding performance in service (2008-9) and the Rookie of the Year Circle K Award (2009) from the Kiwanis Club.

In five years, this young policymaker sees herself graduating with a PhD in social policy. Her life's ambition is to work with the most vulnerable youths and to make a contribution to the educational system.

She says she values the development and deportment skills which are being taught and the friendships that participating in the Miss Jamaica World contest affords.

Anya says she admires Tessanne Chin as she sees her as an influential role model to our local youths and respects her powerful songwriting ability and strong stage performance. A natural fit, as Anya is a performer in her own right. She spent seven years performing with the Jamaica Musical Theatre Company.

Anya's thoughts on life come from Indian philosopher Mahatma Gandhi: "Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever."
