Lacena Golding-Clarke is a veteran competitor for Jamaica who had her best showing at the World Championships when she reached the final at the 2003 meet in Paris. At age 34, she is now in the twilight of her career but could still use her vast experience to do well in Berlin. Her best showing at the world meet is her fifth- place finish in Athens but two years before that won gold at the Commonwealth Games in Manchester, England.
