'Churchgoing' gunmen shoot five, kill teen in Maverley
The police have linked a shooting yesterday morning in Maverley, St Andrew, to an ongoing feud in the community.

Five people were injured and 15-year-old Dorian Scott killed during the incident on Reapers Road, Maverley Avenue.

Scott is from Reapers Road, while injured are four males aged 16, 18 and 30, also of Maverley Avenue, and a 17-year-old from Keystone in Spanish Town, St Catherine.

It is reported that about 8:15 a.m., the five were on Reapers Road when they were approached by a group of men armed with guns. The gunmen were posing as churchgoers.

The police say the hoodlums opened fire hitting the five several times before escaping. Scott died on the spot. The others were taken to hospital where they were admitted in serious condition.
