The Rev Dr Roderick Hewitt, minister of Hope United Church, tells Outlook that he gets the strength "I need to do all that I have to do" from the words of Philippians chapter 4, verse 13, which reads:

"I have the strength to face all conditions by the power that Christ gives me."
