Best performances: At the 2007 World Championships Lloyd won a bronze medal in the 4x400 metres relay, together with teammates Shericka Williams, Davita Prendergast and Novlene Williams. She also reached the semi-final in the individual event, with a then personal best time of 51 seconds.

In Beijing last year, she teamed up with Novlene Williams, Shericka Williams and Rosemarie White for bronze in the 4x400m. At the Pan American Games in 2007, Lloyd was fourth in the 400m event.

Lloyd was a fourth-place finisher at the Jamaican trials, which means she is only good enough to run in the 4x400m relay at the World Championships. So far this season, the former Vere athlete has yet to recapture last year's form. In seven outings this season she has yet to break 51 seconds, having got to 51.32, 51.49, 51.55, 51.60, 51.41 and her season best of 51.18.
