Fiction lounge - The Fiction & the fame

In one word? Sexy. The magnetic pull of Fiction Lounge is sexy in the way a Mercedes or Ferrari is, and carries the same sensuality and magic within its walls as a Lady Gaga or Fergie music video.

Since opening in December 2008, Fiction has kept up its aura of otherworldly fame. Manager Kevin Bourke, explains, "We were trying to create an atmosphere that is a premium experience; patrons could come lounge, eat, dance, and experience premium cocktails in a safe environment. We saw that there was a gap in the market for a sophisticated outlet."

The truth about Fiction? It's no common dance club. Patrons had best dress to impress and bring ID; top 'ZJs' Chrome and Rush or DJ Richie Dee from Miami, work the turn-tables. The liquor is uncompromisingly top-shelf, and the bouncers zealously guard your privacy once you're inside. Envision you're on a date where you arrive around 5:30 p.m. for an intimate dinner, sip wine and share exotic food, then after 10 p.m., the party gets started. Your favourite music starts to pulse and the cocktails keep flowing.

Expanding

You could dance all night. Fiction will be expanding in the near future so "the sexiest people in Kingston" can see that "every night is special in Fiction." Monday night is 'MYNT' a South Beach vibe; Wednesdays it's fashion forward with 'Brand New Machine', and things get steamy for Ladies' Night on Thursdays.
