... Disappointed with board
The Editor, Sir:

I am disappointed with the attitude of the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) towards the players. How can they expect people to work continuously without being remunerated? Three series without pay is too much; leaders should behave as leaders and be an example for others. They should treat people as they would like to be treated.

If a player is injured or died on the field, what grounds do the players or family have to stand on without a contract to show? I am disappointed that the other players accepted the invitation to play, as this undermines the process and the board will continue to operate in this manner.

No one should attend or even watch the match with the third eleven.

I am, etc.,
