In just a few weeks, the first Jamaica Bar Week will be held. The unique islandwide event, which will be staged July 27-31, will undoubtedly create a buzz among bar-hoppers, who will, in turn, be rewarded with the ultimate bar experience at a reduced cost.Creative Media and Events Ltd, the organisers of the event, also known for their premier party in years gone by, Special Delivery, are sure bar-hoppers and those with an appreciation for fine liquor will love it, not only because they will be able to experience the luxury of complimentary drinks at a number of the island's finest restaurants and bars, but because the list of activities during the week are like none they have ever seen.
Celebrity bartenders
Establishments such as Margaritaville (Ocho Rios and MoBay), Christopher's (Quad), Medusa, Pure/Plush, Escape, Susie's Bar, Cuddy'z, Pier One, among others, will shower patrons with their drink-mix specials and liquors made from Johnnie Walker, Bailey's Rum Cream, Red Stripe, Guinness and Smirnoff. There will also be celebrity bartenders and international Red Bull flair bartenders to add colour, panache and spontaneity tothe experience.
