It's two the hard way! Trelawny duo Anthony Mc-Kenzie and Jessie Codling have been named the outstanding students for Spring Gardens Primary and Infant School's showing in the Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT), averaging high 80s.
Anthony wants to be a scientist is. He is also an excellent singer, worships at the Spring Gardens Seventh-day Adventist Church, and is already delivering sermons.
Whereas some children have restrictions placed on them by parents in order to encourage them to study, Anthony is a committed bookworm.

"I ask my mother to take my games away so that I can get to study," he said.
Acting principal Sonia Crooks said that Anthony's dream of becoming a scientist is true to form, as because of his enquiring mind, he is always exploring and finding solutions.
Jessie's mom, however, had to enforce curfews on him. He wants to become a bank manager and enjoys reading, watching television and swimming. He is a Baptist by faith.
The boys had high praise for their teacher, Pherone Griffiths, for inspiring them to work hard.
