Good job, Air Jamaica
The Editor, Sir:

Both Air Jamaica and Facebook have been topical in Jamaica recently. If anyone is still doubting the value of Facebook, I just proved its value again. In addition, I experienced an extraordinary incidence of superior customer service from our national airline.

An amazing set of customer service people at Air Jamaica recently used Facebook to track me down to return a precious family memoir I had misplaced on a flight in December 2005 - after nearly four years of searching for me. Amazing Air Jamaica! Fantastic Facebook!

Sentimental value

Special mention to Jacqueline Alberga, Eva Barzellotti and the entire Air Jamaica team - both in Fort Lauderdale and Kingston.

Jackie found the book, recognised its immeasurable sentimental value and kept trying to contact me through various other means over the years - and then she found me on Facebook!
