Elderly commits suicide in Kingsland
A woman said to be in her late 60s ,was discovered by her son early on Tuesday hanging from the ceiling of her home in Kingsland, Manchester.

A note was found indicating that the woman had a medical condition that was of great embarrassment to her. Not wanting to embarrass the family she thought it best to end her life. She is also alleged to have said in the note that she had contracted the condition from a 72-year-old man. She also wrote that no one except her should be blamed for her medical condition and death.

Residents say that the woman had been moving back and forth from Kingston, but moved into her Kingsland home on Sunday. It is said that she said that was where she wanted her life to end.

The Mandeville police are reminding persons that they have a counselling unit available for those in grief or having difficulty coping with any situation.
