English racing
Today's racing takes place at Wolverhampton, Catterick and Epsom, which stages day two of its big Derby Day meet which ends tomorrow. There is also racing from Fairview in South Africa.

Meanwhile, two-time champion jockey Jamie Spencer, who rides at Epsom today, has widened his lead over closest rival Chris Catlin in the 2009 Flat jockeys' standings.

Spencer has so far ridden 69 winners to be 10 clear of Catlin. They are followed by Robert Winston in third on 55.

Track Price Plus will offer bets on the Belmont Stakes from New York tomorrow, this as part of the local racing programme.

5-2 ante-post favourite

Spencer is fancied to win the Epsom Oaks (17th race) over 12 furlongs aboard the 5-2 ante-post favourite SARISKA for trainer Michael Bell in a field of 10 fillies. SARISKA won well at Newmarket on her seasonal debut last month, and will report even better for today's encounter and should lead home RAINBOW VIEW with Jimmy Fortune aboard.
