Waulgrovians lead the series 1-0, following their 49-46 victory over Jamalco on Thursday.
"Jamalco are a very good team and I know that they are going to come at us on Saturday and so we are expecting a very exciting game," Forbes said.
"It would be wonderful if we win Saturday's game because we haven't won the competition in seven years and a lot of our youngsters have never won a championship before," said Forbes, who is also the captain of the national senior team.
boost their confidence
"I think that it (victory) is going to boost the confidence of our youngsters because they are going to feel how it feels to win the Berger Paints championship," Forbes said.
"I think that tonight (Thursday) a few of the girls were off and the others had to pick up the slack and so we are really playing like a team to get the victory."
Meanwhile Davis, the former national captain and the leading goal shooter in this year's competition, said: "We are the champions and I know that we can definitely rebound and send this series into Game Three on Monday.
"Waulgrovians are a championship team because they have a lot of quality players and they are very resilient and I am expecting a tough game from them."
Davis, who last represented the Sunshine Girls at the 2007 World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand, added that her team did not play well because they made a lot of mistakes, "both in our passing and their positional play."
She noted: "We have to make sure that we improve our all-round game so we are able to counteract their style of play."
