The world's top stout, Guinness, is celebrating its 250th anniversary this year with a slew of events across the world. Jamaica, being one of the major producers of the brand, is no exception, with well over 150 events and anniversary roadshows currently under way.

That, however, is just the tip of the iceberg, as Guinness has also introduced a new line of trendy wear for its many consumers. The gear is locally designed and created right here in the island. The line includes a belt buckle and necklace made in the form of a harp, the symbol of Guinness; a key ring and Guinness 250 shirts.

The belt buckle and chain were conceptualised by Caroline Kelly, the point-of-sale coordinator at Red Stripe, while the shirts were designed by local graphic artiste Kemal Lawrence.
