New and existing customers of the Face Place salon can once again enjoy discounts on some of their spa services during this year's Gleaner-sponsored Spa Week.

Operations manager, Marsha McKnight, notes that Spa Week will give them an opportunity to introduce everyone to their wide array of services. "We will use this as an opportunity to extend our products and service offerings to persons who may have never known about our unique services. These include phototherapy, microdermabrasion and microcurrent." These services are offered in specially designed discounted packages.

Clients are promised total satisfaction and are guaranteed value for their money. Additionally, McKnight says the usual excellent customer service will be an asset, making clients feel comfortable once they step in.

During this economic recession, when many companies are experiencing slow periods, The Face Place says it has not been significantly affected. "Our clientele has always tended to indulge in our speciality services and custom treatments. We have found, through our expansive range of innovative services and distinctive product offerings, that business has remained buoyant. Thirty-five years in the business has positioned us in times like these to thrive and not just survive," expressed McKnight.

On top of the game

Being on top of the game in the beauty industry, The Face Place has ensured that it's up to date with the latest treatments, services and products to meet the demands of clients. "We have a range of cutting-edge services including semi-permanent lashes, threading and our latest 24-carat gold facial which is offered exclusively here. We treat skin differently and customise our services through the available technology and the products we use. We have found that tailoring services for individual's needs guarantees expected results," notes McKnight.

The services that will be offered at a discounted rate are:

The European holiday: a European facial with hand treatment and pedicure.

Rejuve: which comes with a hot stone massage, pedicure, and deluxe manicure.

The New You package: which includes a body polish, Swedish massage and deep-pore facial.

King/Queen for the day package; consists of a custom facial, Swedish massage, pedicure, deluxe manicure and lunch.

Other services they will offer during Spa Week include express facials, massages and manicure and pedicure services during Spa Week. Women can also get their Brazilian wax done, using hot wax, at a discounted rate.

Opening hours: Monday- Saturday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., clients can combine the express services to sample a bit of the King/Queen package. A nice treat, courtesy of the salon, is in store for clients.
