'Mi and mi neighbour' want help
THE EDITOR, Sir:

FOR A long time, we had two craters at the corner of Shortwood Road and Allerdyce Drive. We got no help until the National Works Agency responded to our plea and fixed the problem, although it was not their responsibility. Now we are trying, at our own expense, to fix the many other potholes and the street light that has not worked for years.

Lack of representation

We know the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation may be lacking in resources, but we do not understand the lack of representation for which we are paying. So, we will go on acting on our own; and as we do, we will sing a certain tune, the words of which are:

Me and mi neighbour

Get asphalt and labour;

No cooperation

From the city Corporation;

But we making a note

For the next time we vote;

Me and mi neighbour

Will know who to favour.

We are, etc.,
