LONDON, ENGLAND:
Green is the darling colour of the fashion world right now, and those in the fashion know have already taken note. This might be more than a delayed reaction to show responsibility for one's carbon footprint; or could it be a not-so-subtle reflection that Spring has, in fact, sprung?Whatever the inspiration, and many believe it's just because the colour is flattering on any skin tone, it is perceptively a very eccentric addition to a forest of metallics and monochrome usually seen at this time of year. What is great about this garden favourite is that it is holding its own among the sea of brights touted to be Spring's sweet song, with spectacular effect.
He will definitely not forget how you looked on the special date if you wear this sexy little thing.
Unlike its ostentatious cousin red, green is quite subtle, yet sensual, which makes it a bewitching choice for first dates, but even then, choosing the right colour is important to looking your best. It goes without saying, that mint green must only be worn by the mother of the bride, and at this time of year it is way too early for lime. The safest bet, when in any doubt, is to stick to the deep shades of emerald or jade, and soft fabrics that are sweat-proof, and in no time you will be a green goddess.
Pieces selected from London's trendiest stores.
