Sanya back on the scene

Sanya Hughes

Pulse International's Sanya Hughes has returned to international modelling. Global Beauties rated her 'the sexiest woman in the Americas' shortly after her world-captivating appearance at Miss Universe in Puerto Rico in 2002. Installed as a firm favourite to win the Miss Universe crown by the leading beauty pundits, press, websites and experts, Hughes defied her 5'7" frame to become a successful model in the British market, despite finishing out of the frame at the Miss Universe competition.

Now, after a hiatus of a few years, Hughes has re-entered the international market, this time on the other side of the Atlantic; in the United States. A ravishing beauty, she enjoyed great popularity as a beauty queen and model. Years earlier she had won Pulse's Caribbean Model Search in the petite category. She has cemented her place in history with the agency, being the only petite winner to go on to craft an international modelling career.

Most revered

She was recently signed to Elite Models, one of the most revered names in modelling history.

While modelling in Europe, she has nabbed campaigns and other assignments for FCUK (French Connection United Kingdom), Emkai and Ted Baker, among others. Hughes also scored major advertising billing for tech gadget Nintendo, fast-food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken and starred opposite legendary crooner George Michael in his music video Amazing. Her editorials included covers for publications such as Pride Magazine, for which she did both fashion and beauty spreads.
