The students - two aged 15 and the others 16 - all attend a prominent all-girl high school in St Andrew.
The men, one of whom is said to be a teacher, were held after the police stopped a Honda CR-V along the Hellshire main road in St Catherine about 6:30 p.m. Five black plastic bags containing matter resembling ganja and weighing more than 30lb were seized by members of the Island Special Constabulary Force.
Clothing covered
The four students had reportedly gone to the beach for a swim with the men. The police found other pieces of clothing covered in sand.
Cops told The Gleaner last night that both men were likely to be charged with transporting, possession of and dealing in ganja. Abduction, the lawmen said, was also being considered as the students were reportedly found in a compromising position.
One of the men is from an Olympic Court, St Andrew, address, and the other hails from Lacovia, St Elizabeth. Their identities have been withheld.
The students were being quizzed at the police station up to press time.
