Iniesta doubtful

BARCELONA, Spain (AP):

Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta tore a right thigh muscle yesterday and is reportedly in doubt for the Champions League final against Manchester United. Iniesta was hurt in Barcelona's 3-3 draw with Villarreal, which kept the Catalan team waiting to celebrate the Spanish league title for at least another week.

Barcelona said Iniesta would miss Wednesday's Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao. Iniesta scored Barcelona's late equalizer last Wednesday to earn Barcelona a 1-1 draw at Chelsea and passage into the Champions League final in Rome on May 27.

Refs' error costs Mavs

DALLAS (AP):

The NBA admitted officials were wrong when they didn't call an intentional foul the Dallas Mavericks were trying to commit before Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony made a game-winning three-pointer on Saturday. Dallas had a two-point lead and a foul to give when Denver inbounded the ball with less than eight seconds left. Antoine Wright was clearly trying to foul Anthony, and bumped him twice.
