Our guest editors are dropping in again. This time, an all-female team led by Carolyn Gomes, executive director of Jamaicans for Justice (JFJ), will produce The Gleaner of Monday, May 18. Watch for that ultimate must-read but in the meantime, check out our daily profiles on the women.

Today, we introduce Davina Gayle.

Davina Gayle is the communications assistant at JFJ. Her work includes education and advocacy in citizens' rights, both at the high-school and community levels. Gayle also produces JFJ's radio talk show, 'The Community Lawyer', on Roots 96.1 FM and writes quarterly e-newsletters on justice issues.

She attended the University of the West Indies, Mona, where she received a BA (Hons) in media and communication and has recently been accepted to do an MA in communication for social and behavioural change.
