Mobile Reserve cop killed in Irish Pen
POLICE PERSONNEL in St Catherine have launched a search for the killer or killers of Constable Metro Tulloch of the Mobile Reserve who was fatally shot in the Irish Pen community yesterday morning.

The police told The Sunday Gleaner that Tulloch accompanied a female into Irish Pen community about 4 a.m. yesterday when he was attacked by unknown person or persons. Yesterday, a number of high-ranking police personnel were seen processing the scene where Tulloch was killed.

Investigators theorised that their colleague was ambushed.

His father, Winston Tulloch, said he last saw his son Thursday and that he blamed him for going into the Irish Pen community.

"Him should know better than to come a dem place yah, and feel seh him safe,'' said Winston.

The father said that his son, who joined the force six years ago, was a good, hard-working person. However, other persons might have seen his demise coming.

Tulloch said that a Christian woman had warned his son that persons were about to harm him. In reacting to the death of Constable Tulloch, Chairman of the Police Federation Sergeant Raymond Wilson said it was "very sad''.

Tulloch is the third policeman to be killed by criminals since the start of the year.
